Tracing the Seeds, Remembering the Circles: Botanical Paint-Making Workshop
On 19 July 2025, I hosted Tracing the Seeds, Remembering the Circles, a seed-saving, botanical ink-making, and drawing workshop, in collaboration with soft shock Collective at Bridgehouse Gardens in southeast London.
Together, we observed seeds collected from the community garden, made inks and paints from them, and drew using these materials. Through this shared process, we explored seeds as containers of generational knowledge, teaching us about belonging, ancestry, and growth on a small yet profound scale.
